ElderSource is pleased to honor and celebrate the many individuals and organizations who worked tirelessly to provide thousands of older adults with food, financial assistance, comfort and friendship during the difficult days of the 2020 pandemic. A Night with the Stars is a special occasion to shine the light on their hard work and dedication that enabled the seniors in our community to maintain their independence and dignity.
Join us in paying tribute to the 2021 Delores Barr Weaver Elder Advocate Award Winner, Richard Prudom, the Secretary of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs.
Because of his leadership throughout the pandemic, the statewide agencies providing support to the hundreds of thousands of seniors were able to respond with tremendous efficiency and effectiveness. Secretary Prudom put the people’s needs first, and policy and paper, later. He was the right leader for this time in Florida history.
The 2021 Luminary Award Winners are “leading lights” who have demonstrated leadership, passion, compassion and dedicated service to seniors.

Celebrate along with everyone and tune into the live streamed event, which will begin at 6:30 pm. If you are not able to attend the night of the event, it will be recorded and available on the ElderSource YouTube channel several days later.
For Sponsors and Luminaries who plan to attend in-person will be sent an email with a private registration link and COVID safety guidelines for attendance.

A Night with the Stars is the only fundraising event presented by ElderSource. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Senior to Senior Fund, which provides assistance to older adults experiencing unexpected financial crisis.
