ElderSource would like to send a special thank you to everyone who was a part of our annual fundraising event, A Night with the Stars, presented by Florida Blue. This year, the event was held at the Florida Blue Conference Center in Jacksonville.
The annual event was a little extra special this year. In addition to announcing and honoring our Luminary Award winners, we also celebrated ElderSource’s 50th anniversary. After a brief program of awarding our Luminaries, the dance floor opened to fabulous live music from The Band Be Easy.
We also presented the 2024 Delores Barr Weaver Elder Advocate Award to Rebecca Berg, Esquire. As a distinguished elder law attorney in Northeast Florida for over 25 years, Rebecca has had an amazing career guiding older adults in important life decisions as well as countless hours of pro bono advice. Most notably, she has served on the board of Aging True since 2000 and its board chair from 2010 to 2024. Click here to learn more about her accomplishments.
All proceeds raised from the evening went to support the ElderSource EASE fund.
